Virtual Show and Tell Organizer You can choose the virtual tool we use to upload photos and present a show and tell at virtual meetings, such as Google Photos. Collect photos of quilts from members via email, and the historian/photographer from events. Prepare a virtual show and tell for each virtual meeting that can be shared on Zoom. Contact Callista, president@scvqa.org. In Person Show and Tell Photographer Print and bring a sing up sheet to properly attribute quilts. Take photos of quilts during Show and Tell at in person meetings. Get photos uploaded and sent to the Newsletter Editor and Social Media coordinators. Virtual monthly quilt together host (individual or team) Be able to schedule, start and host a regular monthly Zoom meeting. On an evening or weekend when most members can attend. Facebook Group Moderator
Monitor new Facebook Group. Allow members to access. Remove any harmful or spam content. Communicate any important issues that members share with the Board.

Want to Sew Together in Person!? In Person Quilting Venue Team
We are able to set up monthly quilting in person at Christ the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, San Jose if we can confirm we have volunteers to help first. This would be a weekday during the day. We need at least four volunteers to set up folding tables, chairs, ironing stations, etc. As well as four volunteers to tear down, put away and make sure the space is clean.

Webmaster/Tech Assistance
Assist with members trouble shooting their accounts (with Membership), or registration for events. Assist board members or committees with posting on the website, such as posting minutes, creating events, updating calendar and other resources.
Coordinate with social media coordinator to advertise events and other important news.
Maintain Go Daddy domain. Assist with managing the Zoom, Gmail and TechSoup accounts.
Attend board meetings and vote.

Social Media Coordinator
Regularly create and post content and answer questions via Facebook and Instagram. Coordinate with Webmaster to focus on priority news. Such as: upcoming meetings, workshops, events, sales, quilt photos, volunteer recruitment and acknowledgement, quilt award acknowledgement, etc.
Attend board meetings if possible.

Opportunity Quilt Organizer
We have gotten off schedule in the last few years and want to make sure we back on track to make appealing and high quality opportunity quilts. We have one group working on one now. But we need another, so that we can make sure we have them when they are needed, and the groups can alternate with each other on completion dates. This would mean getting a committee together, designing and making a quilt. Staying in touch with the Board and Ways and Means Committee.

JOIN A COMMITTEE
Marin Retreat Co-Coordinator
Assist with contacting Nature Bridge and securing contracts. Update and monitor registration forms. Deliver and monitor physical resources (like ironing boards) to the retreat center. Attend board meetings as needed. We have a long term coordinator who just needs help, you won’t be on your own! Contact Cherese, cherese@currier.name.
Programs Committee Members
We’re looking for a new Programs committee member. It’s a lot of fun learning about and meeting new teachers, and easy to do! No prior experience necessary. Contact Jessie and Patty, programs@scvqa.org.
