Audrey’s workshop, Watercolor Quilt, will be held on Saturday, July 30th, 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. (This is a departure from our usual class schedule, but we were eager to be able to accommodate Audrey’s timetable.)
Audrey is a quilter from Kentucky who started making quilts in 2005, after a lifetime of sewing. Her business is called Cotton and Bourbon, as a nod to two favorite evening activities. You can see more of her work here: https://www.cottonandbourbon.com/homepage
The Watercolor Quilt is a wall hanging made from one large block that uses curved piecing to create the illusion of transparency from overlapping circles. The class will cover Audrey's process for building a fabric gradation and tips and tricks for stress-free curved piecing. Take the guesswork out of color selection by using one of the published color gradations inside the pattern! The Watercolor Quilt finishes at 32 x 32 inches.
We have members who have taken this workshop and recommended it to us!
