NEW YORK BEAUTIES AND FLYING GEESE
Carl shares his inspiration behind the quilts from his book New York Beauties & Flying Geese (including a foreword from Tula Pink, who collaborated with him on the fabric selection). Learn more about his color inspiration as he shares the quilts from the book as well as others that have inspired his quilting journey.
Carl Hentsch taught himself quilting in 1997 and took it up for good in 2006. His quilts have hung at AQS shows and the International Quilt Market in Houston. He now travels nationally speaking and teaching at quilt guilds and shops. He holds degrees in chemistry, biology, linguistics, and accounting and business management. He lives in Missouri with three dogs and a cat.
